Kathy brings a deeply compassionate and thoughtful approach to her counseling work, drawing on a rich background in psychology, community counseling, executive coaching, and leadership development. She earned her M.S. in Community Counseling from The University of Vermont and her B.A. in Psychology from St. Lawrence University.

Kathy’s professional path has included decades of experience helping individuals, teams, and families navigate transition and growth. Her expertise in listening, goal setting, and fostering resilience informs her work with adolescents, adults, and families at The Coastal Center. She has a particular interest in supporting teens, parents and professionals as they navigate the challenges of communication, identity, and life transitions, helping families strengthen relationships and gain new tools for connection and understanding.

Before joining The Coastal Center, Kathy held executive leadership roles in both corporate and academic settings and taught Leadership and Organizational Development at Suffolk University’s School of Business. Her professional and volunteer work reflect a lifelong commitment to personal growth, community service, and helping others thrive.

Kathy approaches each client and family with warmth, respect, and curiosity—believing that lasting change begins with feeling truly heard and understood.
