Maya holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University. Her clinical experience involves working with children and adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, identity, ADHD, and life changes. She has experience working within school systems and supporting children and adolescents from a variety of backgrounds with diverse needs.

She understands that therapy looks different for each young person that walks into her office and responds to this need using different therapeutic modalities and interventions including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, art therapy, play therapy, and mindfulness practices. No matter the clinical path that is taken, she approaches all clients with warmth and a focus on relationship-building.

Maya partners with children and their families to create meaningful change while honoring each young person’s unique personality, experiences, strengths, and goals.
